Admission Profile
To enter the Program, applicants must prove compliance with the following formal requirements:
Be in possession of a bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences and/or Professional Title of Civil Engineer, or equivalent training, related to the area of Industrial Engineering, which ensures satisfactory prior training for the demands of the Program. In the latter case, special situations will be analyzed by the Master's Program Committee who will evaluate the relevance of the applicant's undergraduate training.
It is expected to include approximately the following:
- Basic Science Subjects (Calculus, Algebra, Physics, Chemistry, others) 22%.
- Engineering Sciences Subjects 23%.
- Disciplinary training subjects 40%.
- Professional training subjects (Personal and comprehensive development, Effective communication, others) 6%.
- English subjects (4 courses) 9%.
Which must have knowledge in the areas (disciplinary training) of:
- Processes and technologies of factory production and services.
- Mathematical modeling for decision making.
- Theory of organizations and business management.
- Information technologies applied to management.
- Production and operations systems.
- Business economics.
- Project evaluation and management.
