Articulacion
The program has a simultaneous articulation mechanism aimed at students of the Industrial Civil Engineering degree from the Faculty of Engineering and the Mathematical Engineering degree from the Faculty of Science at the University of Santiago de Chile.
This mechanism allows students who hold the degree of Bachelor in Engineering Sciences or Bachelor in Mathematical Engineering, respectively, to enroll in the Program, recognizing subjects within the last three levels of their professional degree curriculum. Additionally, they have the opportunity to fulfill the final graduation and degree requirements through the development of a single thesis project.
Students who are governed by this simultaneous articulation mechanism will be exempt from paying the Program fee (Exempt N°5929 of August 12, 2019, Exempt Nº4990 of November 12, 2020 [Industrial Civil Engineering], Articulacion Agreement of September 29, 2020 [Industrial Civil Engineering], Exempt Nº8675 of September 9, 2022 [Mathematics Engineering], Articulacion Agreement of August 16, 2022 [Mathematics Engineering]).
In addition, the Program is linked with the Doctorate in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Industrial Engineering, which could allow students in the future to make the necessary transition to continue advancing in their academic training (Exempt N°7969 of October 21, 2024).
